Quality resin is the key to safe, durable, and better-looking windshield repairs. With tinted options and superior strength, GlasWeld resin is the go-to choice for techs who demand the best.
Available in two viscosities (All Weather and Warm Weather) and three tints (Clear, Gray, and Amber).
The purpose of windshield repair is simple: Disguise the break and restore the safety of the windshield.
The catch? Without quality resin, it’s impossible to accomplish either goal. You can have the best tools and the best skills, but if you’re injecting cheap resin, your repair is compromised.
Resin is important. GlasWeld premium resins are…
- Formulated for maximum clarity and strength (up to 34% stronger than other leading brands)
- Independently-tested to meet and exceed national and international industry standards, including ANSI, NWRA, BSI, and AS/NZS
- Available in two viscosities to work well in both mild and extreme climates
- Available in three different tints to complement every type of break

In a front-end collision, the windshield provides up to 45% of the structure of the vehicles cabin. Rollover? Make that 60%.
When a windshield is repaired with low-quality resin, the strength of the windshield is weakened, putting passengers at risk.
Windshield repair is about more than looks. It’s about safety.
GlasWeld resin tested an average of 34% stronger than other leading brands. Learn more.

I have been repairing stone chips since 1989..in the beginning I used a 2 part resin...that did an "ok" job for 10 years or so. then I discovered UV curing resin..I would use a tripod type system with a vacuum pump and that did a good job...I used that system for 15 years..then I discovered Glasweld resin and that did a terrific job repairing stone chips! I bought that resin on amazon, and posted before and after pics of the terrific job this resin does! I found/as this website stated Amber is great for most all...and Gray is great for breaks with lines that spider from the break! Then by accident I discovered the Galsweld website had a "new" system to repair stone chips..the ZOOM...after watching the videos on this website and determining I needed an upgrade from my tripod/vacuum system I bought the Zoom system..along with the Amber/Grey resin and the Zoom injector my stone chip repairs are quicker, perfect to set up with NO waste now that I don't have to use the vacuum pump to vacuum and pressure...the stone chips I fill/fix now are WONDERFUL! I am happy I found this resin because it does the job and looks great!
