Why do headlights get foggy?

Most headlights are made of polycarbonate, a substance that is affected by UV rays and heat from the sun. Headlights also encounter a ton of salt, grime, dust, and dirt on the road. Over time, the headlights begin to oxidize, causing them to look foggy.

Will Gclear cure without the UV curing light?

Gclear is a hard coat that’s designed to be UV-cured at a specific frequency. Our UV curing lamp is designed to cure Gclear fully and consistently.

Using sunlight to cure normally produces inconsistent results, compromising the longevity of the repair.
